Now recruiting for our PYCES2 Study (Children 3-8 years)
We are currently recruiting families to take part in the PYCES2 study, a clinical trial investigating a cognitive behavioural therapy for children aged 3–8 years who have developed symptoms of PTSD following a single-incident trauma (such as an accident or medical emergency). All study participants will receive comprehensive psychological diagnostic assessments and up to 12 weekly therapy sessions for the child and their parent or caregiver if allocated to the trial intervention arm of the study. Other participants will receive usual care from their designated provider. Eligible participants will receive a small monetary compensation upon study completion.
If you are a parent or carer of a child who may be eligible, or if you would like to learn more, please read our participant information sheets:
You can also contact us directly at alicja.podgorski@mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk for more information or to speak with a member of the team.
