Cambridge Specialist Depression Service (CSDS)
The CSDS is part of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and offers specialist and coordinated psychiatric, psychological and nursing care for refractory depression. CSDS is funded by the NIHR CLAHRC and the MRC as it is initially being run as part of a pragmatic clinical trial in comparison to usual care. The trial will run for 2 years and is in collaboration with the University of Nottingham.
The clinical team at CSDS comprises Dr Rajini Ramana (Consultant Psychiatrist and C2:AD Clinical Director), Dr Richard Moore (Consultant Clinical Psychologist), Joy Hodgkinson (Clinical Nurse Specialist).
We are running an embedded research study as part of CSDS and all participants in the CSDS trial will be invited to take part. Aliza Werner-Seidler is leading this study and more information can be foundĀ here.
